After Effects Tutorial: 2.0

Out of all the things that I will take away from this course, it will be the art of masking. We saw it in Photoshop, Illustrator and now After Effects. This tutorial introduced masking in AE. Similar to the transformation tools we used last week, masking paths, feathering and opacity were used. A mask was used on each of the stills to add a reveal effect. Transformation tools like position was used to animate the composition. Easy ease was put oTn the keyframes to give the movement between the different superheroes fluid and natural.

I problem that I encountered was adding keyframes in the wrong order. This caused unwanted motion on images that I wanted still. A quick fix for this was to right click the keyframe and press keyframe interpolation.
